Company History

Professional Capital Services, LLC (“PCS”) was founded by partners in the tax and corporate departments of Dilworth Paxson, LLP. The founders of PCS and partners in Dilworth’s tax department have well over 200 cumulative years of experience representing clients before the IRS and other regulatory agencies. Dilworth is a firm with over 200 employees and self-employed individuals including over 120 attorneys resident in 7 offices with broad and diverse experience representing regional and national clients. Former partners include a former mayor of Philadelphia (firm founder Richardson Dilworth), countless federal and state judges and directors and presidents of major corporations and public institutions. In the firm’s proud 70-year history it had not established a subsidiary or affiliate to perform non-legal services until March of 2001 when it formed PCS.

PCS was created after an internal analysis of potential growth opportunities for the firm and, since PCS’ inception, Dilworth has committed significant resources to PCS.
